Why Guys Shouldn't Skip Senior Pictures

Senior portraits aren't about spending hours posing for the camera. They're about documenting an important milestone.

These photos become graduation announcements, gifts for parents and grandparents, wall art, yearbook submissions, and memories you'll appreciate long after high school is over.

The best sessions don't try to make you someone you're not. They simply capture your personality in a way that feels authentic.

Whether you're a football player, baseball player, golfer, wrestler, musician, outdoorsman, or just want great photos before graduation, your session should be built around you.

We'll choose locations that fit your style, keep the experience relaxed, and create images that feel natural—not forced.

Solid colors, well-fitting clothes, clean shoes, and a mix of casual and slightly dressier outfits work best. Layers like jackets, flannels, or quarter-zips also photograph well and add variety.

Sports are a huge part of many seniors' lives, and I encourage athletes to bring uniforms, jerseys, equipment, or letter jackets to create portraits that celebrate everything they've accomplished.

Most guys tell me they don't know how to pose, and that's completely normal. I'll guide you through everything so the session feels easy and your photos look natural.
